What runs in production.
An AI-native software delivery lifecycle running in this lab: specialized agents as architecture, implementation, verification, and security collaborators, with fail-closed gates before anything reaches production.
Four things in place
Roles, not chat windows
Named specialist agents with written charters, inputs, outputs, and handoff contracts. Architecture does not implement. Implementation does not sign security. Testing does not merge.
Git as the system of record
The repository holds code, tests, and governance evidence. The ticket board is an index for status and handoff, not the place the system truly lives.
Gates before speed
Product Requirement and Prompt (PRP) templates, pre-commit and full-suite enforcement, static analysis, and 3-way sign-off on anything locked for production.
Fail-safe over hope
Strict isolation between design-time generation and live production paths, deterministic fallbacks, and automated circuit breakers when code cannot be verified. “The agent will handle it” is not an engineering control.
Proof of practice
The model is not theoretical. It is the operating system powering TickStock.ai, a production algorithmic trading platform for US equities and ETFs, v2.0.0, supported by nearly 5,000 automated tests. Specialist agents cover architecture, implementation, testing, and security, anchored by Git as the single source of truth and deterministic issue synchronization.
